Friends of Hyalite organizes a bi-annual Clean Up in Spring and Fall with help from the Custer-Gallatin National Forest and the City of Bozeman. Combined we remove almost ten tons of garbage and recyclables every year from trailheads, parking lots, campsites and along roads. Clean up days are held before the road opens in May and on the day before rifle season begins in October and are followed by a volunteer appreciation BBQ sponsored by local businesses (thank you Big Sky Brewing for donating the beer for our BBQ this spring!)
The 2017 Spring Clean Up Day is scheduled for Sunday, May 7. We will meet at the gate at the bottom of the canyon at 12:30 and should be wrapped up by 5:30.
If your business is interested in sponsoring a Clean Up Day, contact us @ firstname.lastname@example.org
Friends of Hyalite is a 501(c)3, donation-driven organization that draws on a broad base of community engagement and support. Since 2010, 93 cents of every dollar raised has gone directly to our programs and winter road plowing. By making a tax-deductible gift today, you will help ensure Hyalite remains enjoyable for all for generations to come.
