Celebrate National Public Lands Day by joining us for our semi-annual Clean Up event in Hyalite Canyon. With thousands of visitors over the summer season, fall is the time to help protect the landscape and the watershed before the winter snowfall. 

Meet at the Hyalite Day Use area at 12:00 pm, and work goes until around 4 pm when we’ll wrap up with a volunteer picnic.

Friends of Hyalite and the Forest Service will provide gloves, but you are encouraged to bring your own if you have a pair. The Forest Service will supply any necessary tools and trash bags. Please wear warm clothes, close-toed shoes and bring water.
