Horseback Riding

Many of the major parking lots in Hyalite can accommodate a truck and horse trailer and with the exception of the paved Palisade Falls trail, most of the trails in Hyalite are suitable for horses. Please avoid riding on trails in the spring until the rains stop and the trails dry out.

If you're looking for a great place to stay, Window Rock cabin has a corral for up to 6 horses, with 3 separate compartments and 2 metal gates.
