Friends of Hyalite Fall Clean Up Day
The Friends of Hyalite Fall Clean Up Day is on October 12, 2019! Our annual clean up days are one of the many things Friends of Hyalite does to help the Forest Service take care of Hyalite Canyon. Over the past decade we have removed more than 10,000 pounds of garbage and recyclables from trailheads, parking lots, campsites and along roads. It is a great opportunity for you to give back to Hyalite as well as a fun community event for all.
Volunteers should meet at the Hyalite Day Use Area at 12:00. We will provide gloves, tools, and trash bags. Dress for a day in the mountains and bring water. In addition to picking up trash and cleaning out fire rings, we will be removing barbed wire fence from the Moser and Lick Creek areas. We will wrap up around 4:00 pm to enjoy a volunteer appreciation picnic with food and drinks!
Special thanks to our sponsors: Bozeman Pickle Barrel, Schnees’ Flagship Store, Outlaw Brewing and A Personal Touch Cleaning. If your business is interested in sponsoring a Clean Up Day, contact us info@hyalite.org.
