Rental Cabins and Pavilion

For more information on rental cabins or the Hyalite Pavilion, and to make a reservation, please visit http://www.recreation.gov/ or call the Bozeman Ranger District at (406) 522-2520. The pavilion and cabins are very popular and advance reservations are recommended.

The Hyalite Pavilion is available for day use only (until 10pm).

  • Semi-enclosed space

  • Existing seating for about 30 people and a maximum capacity of 80.

  • Inside: two wood-fired BBQ grills and a fireplace

  • Outside: fire ring surrounded by sitting boulders

  • Wheelchair accessible

Forest Service Rental Cabins

Window Rock Cabin:

  • $30 per night

  • Sleeps 4

  • Requires a short walk to access

Maxey Cabin:

  • $40 per night

  • Sleeps 4 plus 2 in an adjacent bunkhouse

  • Vehicle accessible

Looking for a backcountry cabin experience? The Fox Creek Cabin in the South Cottonwood drainage is accessed via a 2.5 mile non-motorized trail at the end of the Langohr Road or by hiking further from the History Rock, Blackmore, or South Cottonwood trails.
