Summer Stewardship Projects

Have you ever noticed the old, falling down, barbed wire fences in Moser and Lick Creek? The barbed wire, which is left over from a retired grazing allotment, is an eyesore and a danger to dogs and wildlife. With your help, we hope to remove it all by the end of the summer!

Join us after work on July 15, August 18, and/or September 16 (the 3rd Monday of each month). We'll be meeting at the Moser trailhead at 6pm and working until dusk.

Friends of Hyalite and the Forest Service will provide leather gloves, but you are encouraged to bring your own if you have a pair. The Forest Service will supply the necessary tools. Wear work pants and boots to protect yourself from the barbed wire!
